Information for Healthcare Provides

Are you a NHS asthma healthcare provider based in Wales? Working in Primary or Emergency Healthcare setting? Or in school settings? With young people with lived experience of asthma? If yes, we would like to invite you to take part in our research.

You can participate by joining a remote (either TEAMS or ZOOM call) one-on-one interview for 30 – 45 minutes. You will receive a £25 Thank You voucher for your time and support. The interview would be conducted by a friendly researcher.

In the interview, you will be asked to share your experience of providing healthcare to young people living with asthma who have used unscheduled emergency asthma care (NHS 111 or 999 calls, unscheduled GP appointments, emergency department visits) for a sudden severe asthma attack. The interview will be audio-recorded with your consent. Any information you give us will be audio-recorded and stored in a locked file (confidential). Only people from the immediate research team with an electronic key can access the locked file. You can stop participating in the interview any time you wish, without giving a reason, and that will not be a problem. If you wish to participate, please fill this form.
