Information For Young Person

Thank you for visiting this website!
If you are a 10 – 17-year-old living in Wales who has used unscheduled emergency asthma care, e.g., NHS 111 or 999 calls, unscheduled GP appointments, and emergency department visits for a sudden severe asthma attack, and are interested in research, we would like to invite you to participate in our research.
You can participate by joining a WatsApp/telephone conversation (interview) with a friendly researcher for 30 – 45 minutes. You will receive a £25 Thank You voucher for your time and support.
During the conversation (interview), you will be asked to share your experience visiting the Emergency Department or unscheduled GP appointment for a sudden, severe asthma attack. The conversation will be screen/audio-recorded with your permission and that of your parents (consent). Any information you give us will be screen/audio-recorded and stored in a locked file (confidential). Only people from the immediate research team with an electronic key can access the file. You can stop participating in the conversation any time you wish, without giving a reason, and no one will be angry.
Feel free to talk to your parents or guardians or a friend before you decide to take part in the research. If you wish to participate, please fill this form.
